terms & cancellations

draft service information to review before customer launch.

draft for review — not final service terms.

this page needs bydIT’s business details and operating policies confirmed before customer launch. do not treat it as a completed legal notice.

scope and quotes

the proposed approach is to agree the work, charges and arrangements before starting. sending an enquiry or appointment request does not create a confirmed booking. published prices, legal trading details and payment arrangements still need approval.

authorising work

only request work on devices and accounts you own or are authorised to manage. explain any known faults or important data before work begins. additional work, parts or recurring services should be agreed separately.

outcomes and data

not every fault can be repaired, and data recovery or uninterrupted protection cannot be guaranteed. any diagnostic charge, backup responsibility and service limitations must be clearly agreed without excluding rights that cannot legally be excluded.

cancelling or rescheduling

contact cameron@bydit.co.uk or 07342 314365 as soon as plans change. no custom late-cancellation or no-show fee has been set on this website. the final policy must explain applicable consumer cancellation rights and how to exercise them.

early-start requests and refunds

where a statutory cancellation period applies, any request to begin work during it needs the appropriate information and agreement. refund handling, any lawful payment for work already carried out, and complaints arrangements must be finalised before taking paid bookings. this draft does not waive statutory rights.

problems with the service

contact bydIT with the date, what was agreed and what went wrong, without sending sensitive account information. the final terms will set out the complaint and remedy process.

owner review needed

confirm legal identity and address, prices and tax treatment, payment terms, travel fees, cancellation process, early-start consent, refunds, recurring service terms and complaints handling. obtain appropriate legal review before relying on these terms.
